Modesty By Design

[mod-uh-stee]   –noun

1.the quality of being modest; freedom from vanity, boastfulness, etc.
2.regard for decency of behavior, speech, dress, etc.
3.simplicity; moderation.
I have such a struggle finding clothing for my daughter and myself  that is somewhat stylish (that definition can be saved for another post entirely), yet modest.  As the weather changes in the summertime,  it always becomes even more challenging.  If you live in the South, you’ll find the challenge lingers on – sometimes even into October!
If you share my trouble, you need to check out Christa Taylor Designs.  She has fabulous swimsuits, skirts, and dresses all maintaining beauty AND modesty!  (And she has a “mark down” section!!)  (*These are NOT affiliate links, nor do I receive any compensation, monetary or otherwise, for suggesting this company.)  Though I’ve never been able to afford her items, I do really respect what she does.  I glean tips and hints off of her informative blog, too!  In light of all the fashion-pushing, kid targeted sites like Barbie, I especially appreciate Christa’s blog posts on inner beauty.
Another benefit to shopping with Christa-Taylor Designs is that Christa and her team believe that there is more to business than just making money.  For this reason, 5% of your purchase rescues and shelters widows and orphans in Cambodia.
Charm is deceptive, and beauty is fleeting; but a woman who fears the Lord is to be praised. – Proverbs 31:30

Know where to find stylish yet modest clothing?  Please share!
